About Custom Exhaust Specialists
On the way south towards the Gold Coast, just a short distance from Brisbane, there is a Mecca of high performance
development and tuning. Custom brake upgrades, JDM cars and engines/half cuts, and full 4WD dyno tuning services are
all within a few miles of one another. Amidst this plethora of goodies there is the mother-load of exhaust system
development: Custom Exhaust Specialists or CES Racing Systems.
Trevor and his wife, Leslie, are CES and represent the perfect business marriage. Trevor has been fabricating
specialised racing equipment throughout his career, using his well developed engineering sense, combined with a gift
for creativity and a hands-on sense of what is practical. Leslie has an administrative business background and a
keen eye for opportunity. Together, they share the daily tasks of dealing with a broad range of existing customers
for their custom fabrications (for everything from drag bikes to offshore racing boats), as well as QA on their
semi-production pieces, and everything else relating to it.
Look around the walls of their offices and you'll see numerous
photos and articles describing their involvement in motor sport throughout
Australia. Not satisfied to simply follow, CES have IP Australian
Registered Designs including the dual WRX (Twin) Dump Pipe (exhaust
downpipe) that has become a staple point of performance (and added H.P.)
and custom Boost Enhancer Plates for Subaru enthusiasts and have continued
to innovate.
